Sailing Into BVI Wreck Week 2025

With Wreck Week 2025 just around the corner, it’s time to start planning your travel itinerary for one of the top sailing events in the Caribbean. There’s fun on land and in the sea with all the activities and dive sites around the British Virgin Islands this summer. Are you planning a trip to BVI Wreck Week? Here’s everything you need to know!

When Should You Book Your BVI Wreck Week Trip?

BVI Wreck Week is only a few months away, so it’s time to start planning your sailing adventure. Want a stress-free way to attend the event? You can take ASA courses with our expert instructors to learn how to sail during Wreck Week 2025.

Our BVI itineraries often include stops in event locations like Virgin Gorda and Anegada, where you can be a part of the Wreck Week action. Book a sailing course and enjoy Wreck Week while learning how to sail!

Choose Your Wreck Week Activities calendar

Be sure to check out the events page for Wreck Week 2025 and decide which events you want to participate in. We stop at many locations on our BVI courses that participate in Wreck Week, where you can scuba dive, participate in a beach cleanup, or party with other sailors at various events.

Some of the main events include:

  • Pirate Brunch Party
  • Trellis Bay Fun Day
  • Day in Virgin Gorda

Dive Sites

There are lots of fun dive sites that you can sail to on our BVI itinerary. You will see tropical fish, art reefs, and (of course) shipwrecks galore! Some of the highlights on the trip include Wreck Alley and an 80-foot kraken sculpture near the shipwreck of WWII-era Kodiak Queen.

In all, there are more than 100 dive sites that you can explore when attending Wreck Week 2025.

What To Pack for BVI Wreck Week

Be sure to plan ahead for Wreck Week 2025. While we do provide sailing essentials and items like life jackets, many of your meals, and towels—you will want to pack a few extra items for the event. Bring the following to BVI Wreck Week:

  • Scuba diving or snorkeling gear.
  • Adult beverages for the event (Wreck Week is a party!).
  • Cash for restaurants, bars, and tips.

BVI Wreck Week Accommodations

Accommodations are available around the BVI, with many visitors staying in Tortola. But when you take sailing courses with Go Sail Virgin Islands, your accommodations are taken care of—on the boat! We have queen and king beds and private bathrooms and even provide most meals!
